Goals
The community is united by three main goals:
- Fighting apathy.
- Generating student activism.
- Empowering young people.
To accomplish these, we need a big network full of active people. Right now, we're focused on keeping each other updated on current events, launching small-scale projects like letter-writing campaigns, coming up with ideas, and bringing more people into the community.
Once the community hits a certain size---how big, we're not sure---we'll be able to launch major campaigns (here's a link to some hypothetical examples).
Bottom line: this is an ambitious project rooted in reality but driven by imagination.
