I love cardboard furniture. One because you can make it yourself, two because its a lot better way to recycle cardboard. Designers are starting to sell cardboard furniture, but for some reason its way expensive.... Here are some great pieces I've found, hopefully they'll give you some ideas on furniture you can make for a lot less then they're charging for theirsdoca1.jpg

<3 idea: Make your own, and stack them like this to make a fab bookshelf, or just a coffee table, whatevs

Another company is Foldschool, they make stools and chairs for kids out of cardboard and on their websight, you can download how to DIY. The stuff isss for kids, but you can multiply the instructions by 2 or 3 (in size and thickness of the cardboard) to make a chair suitbale for you.

...This isn't cardboard, but it's still amazing.
Unusual Chairs
This is "Rag Chair" an original design by Tejo Remy. Also very easy to DIY, I'm in the process of making my own from old clothes and blankets.

...into my first apartment, I didn't have a table, so I put my stereo on a cardboard box.

3 years and one move later, it's still sitting on that box, and the whole structure is now my nightstand. hah
