Textbook Boycott: Who published my textbook?
Some of you might be willing to participate, but leery of spending hours researching how much your books cost. Here's an easy way to cut that time to seconds. Seconds!
- Think back to standing in the bookstore, when you picked up that certain textbook and exclaimed "Holy crap! They want a bajillion dollars for this thing???"
- Pick up the textbook from your flashback and look at the back cover. 9 times out of 10, the publisher's name will be right there.
- Click on this link and vote.
There. Easy, right? It's simple, it's a good excuse to take a 2 minute break from finals preparation, and it's an important step towards making textbook publishers sell their product at a fair price. Besides, it's not like you want to study anyway...
