User Guidelines

Most of these are no-duh type things, but they need to be written down somewhere, so here goes.

  1. No violence. This is a website for organizing, but that of a peaceful variety only. If you’re looking for a site to help you organize a riot, go away and create your own and see how long you last. *sticks tongue out.
  2. No personal attacks on other users. Save the ad hominem crap for other websites. We want to talk about ideas and organizing here. No trolls.
  3. No hate speech.
  4. Don’t goad people. If you’re posting something just to piss another user off, think again. Take a second and cool off. Breaking this rule once will make you look like a dumbass, but doing it enough times will get you banned.
  5. No pornographic content. I don’t know why anyone would feel the need to post it on Lose the Label of all places, but just in case, we’re saying here and now that it’s forbidden. There are 1.7 gazillion porn sites already; this isn’t one of them.

Violation of any of the above guidelines are grounds for account suspension. The power to suspend an account is in the hands of the core members who will enforce these rules at their own discretion using their best judgment.
