After some wailing and gnashing of teeth, I turned on CAPTCHAs for new user registration. I also implemented CAPTCHAs for anonymous user commenting. This means you no longer need a user account to comment on blog posts.
So, if the election were tomorrow, who'd you want to see fighting for the office? Right now, I'd enjoy an Edwards ticket vs. a Paul ticket.

Though my money's with Obama
Though my money's with Obama because I think he's the best electable option, but in an ideal world I'd really love to see Kucinich run against Paul. That would be really interesting, they're both kind of crazy, but so right, even though they're coming from opposite ends of the spectrum.

I like the fact that Paul is
I like the fact that Paul is basically running on the Constitution. He's almost a libertarian, which I think we could really use after the garbage government that's been forced down our throats for the past 8 years. If it weren't for his positions on abortion and global warming, I'd consider supporting him.
Edwards has a better platform than any of the other Dems, IMHO. His platform is truly comprehensive, covering everything from universal health care to tax reform. He has a good plan for every issue I find important, and he seems like the most truthfully spoken candidate on the Dems side. If Edwards got the nomination, and managed to get Feingold to consent to be his running mate, I'd probably crap myself.
