This site is a new venture in social networking, in that we're using the technology of the social networking site to promote and encourage activism.

As such, we're having to do quite a bit of experimenting with and customization of existing technology to fit our needs. We've put a great deal of effort into making this site ready for the public, but there may be technology you were expecting to see that isn't in the site.

This is perfectly normal. We're doing things that nobody has done before. Think of it as moving into a brand new office building -- we know that we can utilize this space to be more productive, but we're not quite sure of everything we can do with the space yet. Rest assured, this site will grow and adapt as we learn how to fully utilize it. In the coming months, we plan to incorporate greater integration with Facebook through the Facebook API as well as a Digg/Reddit-style content promotion system. More ideas will most certainly be added to the list.

This site is only as strong as the people who use it, and as such, we need your help in improving it. If you have an idea or request for a feature that you do not currently see here, use the Contact link at the top of the page to tell us about it (use the Feature Request category). If you have skills with PHP-based website platforms or are familiar with the Drupal platform, we'd be most grateful if you would contribute your time by contacting us with the same form (use the Volunteer category).

In the meantime, please take advantage of this site and use it as a tool for improving the world. Together, we have the potential to do great things.
