Biden asked in a conference call with reporters.

Iran and US tensions are increasing. What can we do to stop this? Think about the consequences. First, Afghanistan, and we abandoned it, now Iraq and we aren't getting out of there, andnext Iran? This is ludicrous. Actually, a few days ago, I emailed a letter to my local newspapaer to remind them to actually investigate Iran instead of being led blindly by the president. My mom woke me up this morning really excited that I was in the paper. I had no intention to be read by people, and now I am a little embarressed. But, what can you expect?
