I've been up since 6:00 this morning because I decided it would be a good idea to exercise. I'm now thinking it would be a good idea to take a nap. Anyway, lots of productive things related to this site have happened in-between.

First off, we now have a tag cloud.* I also shortened the half-life of what lives in the Upcoming events, Recent blog posts, Recent comments, Who's new, Active forum topics, and New groups blocks.

Also, for those of you who are interested in less clutter, you may now turn on and off almost every module on the main page by going into your profile, clicking Edit, and toggling block names on or off. I'm working on a module that will allow us to collapse the blocks entirely, but for now, this should help.

If you have some free time you'd be willing to donate and experience with *any* of the following things, please contact me. You're looking at a baseline time commitment of 1 to 4 hours per week.

  • PHP programming experience (knowledge of MySQL database calls a definite plus)
  • Writing applications that use the Facebook API
  • Drupal development, especially module development
  • group software development using a common code base and revision control system
  • Cascading Stylesheets
  • the Linux command-line interface (bash, tcsh, zsh, or ksh are ok)
  • writing documentation

I'm not expecting you to know all of the above, and you don't have to be an expert in any of them; you just need to have some basic knowledge and be willing to learn more as you go along. The time commitment is the key part.

I would be in your esteem forever, and would probably buy you endless quantities of the vice of your choice (legal ones only, please).
