
The UN AU Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) has reported an attack on its forces by someone (Who, they don't know) in Darfur. A convoy was attacked by armed forces in the country. Now, I'm not surprised that they were attacked. Other peacekeeping and humanitarian forces have been repeatedly attacked by both sides.

In case you hadn't heard by now, the U.S. imposed heavier sanctions against Sudan today.
The Treasury Department said it had blocked the assets of three Sudanese, 30 Sudanese government owned or controlled companies, and a company that violated the arms embargo in Darfur.
